Nice man looks like a good 4 eye. does it have subframe connectors? I know the t-tops can be twisted pretty easy just to give you a heads up. here my its a 89 lx hatch 5 speed I swapped the old 302 out...she was getting a little tired haha but i put in a 306 with flat top pistons a set of edelbrock rpm performer heads and a rpm performer II upper an lower a 70mm throttle body with a x303 cam and 1.6 adjustable roller rockers harded push rods and 24# injectors and a sumped gas tank with a aeromotive a1000 fuel pump, rails, adjustable fuel pressure regulator and braided stainless steel fuel line. now she need paint and I'm on the hunt for a tko 600 used haha

Here's my 89 gt that I've added to the collection. Bought it for 800 already has subframe connectors and the engine bay smoothed. Completely rust free which is rare up here. No interior or drive train but I have all that from my 88 lx. Gt40p motor with b cam a d rebuilt t5.

Nice projects guys! Ya gotta love the Foxbody for being one of the best project cars their is, period!

We recently finished our own AM Project Foxbody. It's a "Cobra" clone convertible that we built up from a worn out '93 GT. You can check out the build up here and see what was changed for each stage. Oh and I know it doesn't mention anything in the link, but keep an eye out for Stage 4. We want to take this Fox to a whole new level!

How hard was the swap to a t-5? Have a 2800 stall in mine and have contemplated changing if its not too hard

Well the hardest part is sourcing the parts to be honest. I lucked out and bought just about everything i needed from a guy who lost interest in doing it himself. Its definitely not for a novice, and it will take a few days, so plan on doing it over a long weekend, especially if its your only DD. But once you have all the needed parts, you have to take apart the dashboard on the drivers side to swap the correct pedal assembly in, and run the clutch cable. But as far as actually putting the new tranny in, its really simple. Its the same process as if you were replacing the clutch. Keep in mind the manual shifter will fit in the same area (with a little modding) as the auto shifter, but you'll need to get the manual cover for the console. I drove around for a while with the gaping hole. Lol but since I will only drive a manual (I'm not against autos, and drag raced one for quite a while, but ive gotten into road racing more) it was well worth it for me

Some of you guys got these cheap. I kinda got ripped. I traded a honda reflex scooter, plus about 500 cash back after taxes/registrarion taken care of. I got a couple months previous to trade. Paid 3k for scooter. Listing on car said 1799. It was stealing all my money for awhile lol. I've replaced a ton mechanically. Don't know if ill ever paint or keep it rough till breaks. There is frame rot in passenger schock tower. It is primer grey. Guy who had before oversprayed over a lot. Locks, mirrors, windshield a tiny bit, trim. He used actual masking tape..facepalm. I pulled off half trim that looked real bad and was curling. So only trim on half of it. No keys to lock it or get in trunk. Hole in trunk too. I've put about 5k so far with labor costs. Fenders only bolted along hood. Need to pull up on them to get in. I have rope tied to rig mine for now lol. Other areas rotted out. Normal driving runs great, get about 20mpg. If o get in to has always had bucking/spitting/hesitation. Probably roller when can afford light years from now. Paint scheme I want is super dark purple with middle of hood being black. Radio not hooked up antenna wire cut. No weatherstripping. Wipers don't work...
