Problems accelerating

Got a problem during acceleration...it feels like a little 6 banger. I just changed the balancer and got the timing up to thirteen degrees. Drove it and has little power. Any suggestions?

I just replaced the harmonic balancer. Dumb thing spun on me. Then i bumped the timing to 15. Started at 10 then went to up to 15.

Not at all. We had it up to 18 with no ping but I figured it was not safe at 18 so we brought it down to 15

18 and it didn't ping??? Seems high are you sure your marks are right on balancer??? I ask because if my timing is too low the car doesn't run good upto 3k just like yours...too high and it pings and wont run good up top...I say take it bump it up and take for a ride...
