87 GT//351w

Just picked up the car and it still has points with a resistor block. Can anyone suggest a good upgrade?

Um, no NO IT ISN'T. MSD is a garbage product. 6A boxes look like a 4 yr old hot glued them together on the inside if you ever pull the cover off one. Also, MSD just filed for Chapter 11 which shows no matter how much money you pay the rags or the powerblock to shill your garbage product, word of mouth trumps all.

MSD= Might Suddenly Die/My Spark Disappeared.

Go with Crane or Accel.

Everyone pushed msd because they paid them to. But now msd is bankrupt and I hope they completely tank seeing as their recovery strategy is fire all american workers and move everything left to mexico and China facilities. Go eat a huge unwashed smeggy chode MSD.

Oh and for buying any other ignition parts. Summit, Jets and as always... the Google, she knows much.

crane ignition?

MDS is a good ignition, it's just old school. Multi Spark Discharge of El Paso, TX has been around for about 40 years. It was even chosen as the Ford Motorsport mftr of their ignition in the 80s-90s. I do believe Crane is the design of Mallory. And Mallory was updated to digital in the 90s. hope this helps as far as MSD going chapter 11? IDK, but almost all businesses during this administration are on the verge..
