Your talking about a kenne bell set up? If so iv never used one and probably ever will. I wouldn't even think about it on a dd they have heat soak the intake temps will go really high they don't use a intercooler the guys iv seen with them are making a pass and throwing a ice bag on the top of there supercharger to keep the intake temps down lol if I were you I'd be looking at a vortech supercharger or Paxton superchargers just do more reading about the kenne bell on a push rod motors and see what you think

Roots style blower on a dd, not so good. Centrifugal style blower or turbo on a dd, heck yeah!

The 03'-04' Termi's came with a roots style blower. Most have an intercooler built into the lower intake manifold. But regardless, they do run a little hotter. Some guys use a methanol injectoin to cool em down. But that would be costly on a dd. The centrifugal kits are generally cheaper than a roots style, although they aren't as broad power producing, and you won't get the bad *** whine from them. I've got a Vortech on my 90' GT, and I love it. You can hear a little whistle going on under the hood....lol

Oh gotcha....... I'm not sure about the V2 decibel level; I've got a V3 on mine. Hopefully someone else can chime in. Pending on the boost you run, you will hear a whistleing sound, but its not a loud whine, like a roots style.

It's either loud or sleeper quiet..I'm not gonna push too much boost...maybe 10 but probably 8....the gt40 crate isn't any stronger than stock so I'd like to get some miles out of it before boom...lol

You can't put an intercooler on a pushrod KB, just a meth kit and that's it. Nowhere to mount an intercooler like there is in the Modular.

With that said, nothing sounds better than a ported eaton.

But for a pushrod, get a centrifugal kit and call it good. Don't need the low end as much as a modular does and you can intercool a centri.

I had a V2 sq on my 04' making 11-12 psi it really wasn't quiet at all, everyone knew it was supercharged.

Thanx I figured the straight gears wouldn't make that much of a difference in sound...
