Boss 302 help 1971

What can cause my 302 to run like crap when still but good when driving it I've already checked the following and there fine distruberter , carb , plugs , wires and I re torqued the intake It's a built 302 Mallory ignition everything auto trans Elderbrock carb vacuum lines are fine just checked those today distributors fine ignition coil is fine carburetor fine but here is a video of it running

On your carb is an adjustable screw for drive idle...have a buddy put it in drive and adjust it...don't know exact procedure...

You're going to have to start with the basics on that car.
Do a compression check first.
You're going to need a vacuum gauge as well.
My suspicion is something is wrong in the valve train...
