x pipe vs h pipe

I have a 86 gt with some work it has mac long tubes shorty offroad h pioe and 40 series flows I was wondering performance and soundwise would it benefit me to replace the h with an x

There is no real difference in performance between the 2. And H pipes are usually deeper, while x pipes are louder and a lot raspier.

Go and get a Mac Pro chamber, they sound amazing , I switched from an x pipe and I now get compliments on the sound as far as performance my new dyno sheet shows more gains earlier in the rpms

I run Mac 1,5/8 long tubes Mac 3 inch pro chamber to 3" Mac mufflers and 3" Mac tail pipes
