I love my 1995 mustang, and I've wanted to upgrade everything to give it great handing and great acceleration. And I've decided that I am going to put a 2014 5.0 cobra jet engine in it, I'm sure with enough modifications it will fit and work properly, I'm just not sure exactly what brand parts I should get or what other parts of the car I will have to mod, it'll take me a few years to do this, but I'm willing to wait.

You will at least need a new custom kmember I know there is a company who sells one just don't know who it is but you will need that motor mount a bell housing if your using your own transmission but if you buy the mt-82 or the 5.0 auto then no bell housing ...you better have deep pockets

I think that will be awesome but I would do it with a different body style. Fox body or the next body after yours. Like early 2000 body's.

Why would you put a Cobra Jet motor in it if you are looking for handling as well? That's a drag motor. Straight line, 9 second 1/4 miler. Many better options out there for what you claimed you are seeking.

Nah nah those old sn95 stands are the ULTIMATE candidate for a sleeper. Who expects those to be fast? Nobody!

(Unless its a 4v)

See i am not the negative nancy of the forum...its just well, from a financial stand point it would be cheaper/ more logical to do something else....if one can afford a cobra jet motor, they can afford an entire cobra jet car. For $28k one could literally have one hellofva built motor and have it installed with supporting mods in your current mustang...one does not simply install a cobra jet engine.

It's a quality forum. Lots of good info to be had. Your introduction to everyone was just a bit unique. It's not everyday someone jumps on and says "Hi! I wanna swap a Cobra Jet into my 95." It'll be a cool project

Not worth it imo. You could just buy the CJ and be done.

Well I guess if your going for the sleeper look but either way with a cobra jet motor the'll be no sleeper look about that in any car ha. If you want a sleeper buy a later mid 70's to late 70's lol
