O2 sensors

How many o2 sensors does 87-93 mustang gt have?? Does it have four, 2 before cats and 2 after cats? Because I just found out I have no 02 sensors and I'm also missing the front o2 sensor harness

Should only have 2. '96 and newer have 4. Is your car running? Because i don't know if it could with missing o2 sensors.

Oh ok and yeah it's running just that it takes a while to turn on when engine is cold or in the morning and I think that might be my problem that I don't have o2 sensors and I also don't have the wire harness for them

They work with the ecu.tell it if it needs to adjust the fuel mixture.probably not running as good as it would if they were hooked up and yes there should only be 2

Okay and the next to the maf connection should be the connection to connect the harness for the o2 sensors

Someone correct me if I am wrong but I don't think O2 sensors have anything to do with start up or cold starts. They only kick in after the engine warms up and it can get a reading in your exhaust gases.

Closed loop and open loop but regardless if he does not have O2s his car is going to run like ****. 87-95 cars have two O2 sensors, 96-up have four. Just get the Densos from Rockauto and call it good. Don't buy them locally for $75 a sensor or whatever the hell they charge.
