92 foxbody wipers

It's always something! Now the wife comes home in the 92 and says the windshield wipers won't shut off. Sure enough, they act like they are on the slowest setting of the intermittent wipers. I unplugged the wiper motor til I can figure out if it is the multi function(wiper/dimmer) switch or the motor. I think there is a hot to the wiper motor assy so it can complete a cycle after you turn it off.

Hmmm, I kinda have a similar issue on my 2000. Every once and a while out of tue blue the wipers will turn on once, when in the off posiion. They work fine when I need them too. Its so intermittent that I've not found it necessary to figure it out. However, in your case it seems like it could be a faulty wiper motor.

Only way that would be happening is if the circuit is being completed somewhere and if it was the wires touching they'd come on the highest setting. I'd replace the switch and expect it to be fixed.

They are VERY expensive. Go on ebay and look up nultu function wiper switch for your car. Mine went bad and I ended up getting a new one on there, it's an aftermarket part for less than $60. It works great

Most stuff like that is pricey. Goddamn foglight switch for a 94-98 car is $65 new... I took mine apart and just replaced the bulbs but now its all wonky even though I put it back together correctly and the lights work now. I may have to just eat that money and get a brand new one... grr....
