Question Pulling codes question

Pulled codes off of my 88 5.0 and it read: 4 1 33. 33 Was either a egr valve wasnt being seated(closed) correctly or it wasnt functioning. I replaced the EGR Valve(was the original ford factory one) and the position sensor connected to the egr valve(both valve and sensor are now new). The code book states that when any parts were replaced(because of a code that is given) to do another test with the coder. Well when I retested the engine after replacing the parts the code i got was just: 4 1 . There wasnt a 3rd code like the "33" above. So... does that mean the problem detected is gone and im good or...? lol

If you don't have a code then there shouldn't be a problem
