Problem still.

I I adjusted my tps sensor, timing to 12 degrees, and my maf. My car was running great, no surging or sputtering when getting on it. This morning whent to start my car and bam!! It started doing its problems all over again. Left school today and had the heat on and I noticed that it wasn't surging or sputtering no more at that point. Could this be a possible vacumm leak I need to look for tomorrow??

Usually your heat won't be good with a vacuum leak.did you check egr valve?you can take carb cleaner and spray around vacuum lines and if the idle changes you found a leak

Pretty sure it's just the whole egr. When I floor it the egr doesn't back off. The bubble thing on the inside.. Doesn't move at all.

Okay kool. Thanks a lot man, I might do a vacumm test tomorrow on it and see what it does. It only closed when I un hooked a line from the passenger side tree and it killed my engine. I'm totally clueless as to what's causing this sputtering

That is exactly what my car is doing. Are you saying the egr was the issue and all you had to do was block it off?

No I blocked that off thinking it was may be that but it wasn't. Come to find out it was the 3wires that plug into the o2 melted on exhaust

You should be able to shake the egr and hear something rattle inside.if not it's stuck.the 02 sensor will bring the check engine light on.gasmilage will decrease and rough idle are symptoms of bad sensors

Well nothing rattled when I took it off. So I'm guessing I'll start there, then the iac and then the stock fpr

Meant a new stock fuel pressure regulator. Even though I change the fuel filter and it was still clean..

Found out it was my plug wires, and the street burner TFI negative wire was loose so It ended up burning the top of my coil and the middle of the cap on the dizzy. Cleaned with wire brush and brake clean and it's perfectly fine ) thanks for all the help people
