NEED HELP PLZ

Just bought my second fox body I've had it for about 7 months now just replaced alternator. Car won't turn over and it just happened after a friend of mine and I are looking at the carburetor and I noticed it needed to be cleaned. My friend kind of flipped the choke valve open he said it was kind of stuck. Few min later I try to crank my car but it won't turn over. Almost sounds like fuel isn't quite making it to the engine. It fired up twice but cut off few seconds later. It needs a 650 CFM carburetor on it but I've left this one on this whole time and no problems til now. The car has engine bored 30 over its been running fine jus a lil overheating in the summer. Idk wat kind of carburetor is currently on right now I haven't been able to get in touch with the guy I bought it from but it is Holley brand and looks fairly new! Do I go ahead and replace it now or is there something I can do that can hold me over til after Christmas???

The numbers on the choke horn will be able to tell you what carb it is. Try spraying starting fluid and see if it starts. That'll eliminate a no fuel start.

It sounds like he pulled the choke off were you trying to pump the gas while cranking it?

After reading it again I have to ask. Does it have fuel in the tank?
