I was having some problems with the car sputtering, I found a connection that was unplugged that I thought was to Msd. I connected the two ends and it seems to have stopped sputtering. It's on a 95Tried I will take a pic of it

What MSD? Box, dizzy, coil, something else? That's like saying "the thing is not plugged in!" Ok, what thing?

Yes if your stock ignition is bypassed through the 6AL box and something came loose of course it will run like ***. You can also ditch the MSD box and run the stock ignition honestly. An aftermarket ignition box is not going to do anything but take up space unless you are running really high RPM or need a really hot spark for a supercharger or some such.
