Fox Body issues

Not an expert but a lot of these cars that are for sale have gauge problems and window issues. Is this a common problem for the Fox's? Could the gauge issues be caused by the voltage regulator? Is it usual for the windows to come out of track easily?

Alot of foxbodies have had their wiring harnesses hacked up by previous owners. I know when I bought mine none of the electronics worked in the car because all of these fuses were blown from an aftermarket security system that was shorting out all sorts of stuff. Sometimes its just a matter of finding loose grounds, connections, and etc. These cars are definitely showing their age with respect to their wiring harnesses and connections. In addition, alot of connections maybe corroded causing poor connections.

The newest fox is 20 years old, even a non-hacked harness is going to almost always have issues. I'm not sure if anyone is making replacement harnesses these days but it might be worthwhile for someone to start.
2000 Mustang GT Steeda build #48. Bolt ons, suspension, Novi 2000.

Just because I give you advice, doesn't mean I know more than you. Its just means I've done more stupid ****.
