Wiring mistery

Hey guys I need your help,
I'm doing a complete rebuild of a 1982 foxbody that was an original 2.3L that I'm converting into a 351. Iv got the motor out and did an A/C delete before taking the motor out. I'm in the process of taking the wires out that ran to the A/C heater function selector switches on the dash. I got the wiring manual but there's wires that are not labeled in the manual. A wire from the heater switches ran to what is called a "clutch cycling pressure switch" but the other wire that came out of the pressure switch went to what looks like a vacuum hose connector which iv posted a picture of at the bottom. If anybody has info on what the picture is and why the wires would be running to it, it would be much appreciated because I'm stumped

Far as I can tell its just the solenoids that route vacuum from the various vent positions: floor, dash/floor, windshield.

So it's not needed then if I have the a/c deleted. I appreciate the help I'm somewhat new to the car building hobby but learning as I go lol

Be sure you don't need it for heat either before you get rid of it. If you building a track only car, then you don't need it, but you may want heat in a dd.
