fox has a hick up(hesitation)

When my car gets warm it will have a hesitation issue...around 1500rpm to 2800rpm.
Its hard to explain its almost like a "hick-up". ill drive to work in the mornings and its fine (not that long of a commute), but after i get off work and go to my dads shop then go home it will do it.....it likes to do it i the freeway in 5th or 4th gear around 1800rpm but if i put my foot in it it'll run like a champ. However if i put my foot in it and pass through that rpm range it may or may not do it....it will do it in any almost any gear. But will idle PERFECT. Things I've changed: Coil, Cap and Rotor, spark plugs(around 3 months ago) and no it didn't do it after i changed them...its been getting worse car has no mods except exhaust. 165,000 miles. I've been told it could be a Vacume line, spark plug wires, a sensor....Help

Check all your plug wires for a break in one. Maybe one that was up against your exhaust and melted?

I'd replace the TFI module on your distributor

The TFI module goes on your distributor. You can buy a stock one at any aftermarket store for under $40. Mine would be going fine down the highway and out of nowhere act like it missed or like the clutch had slipped. I replaced it and hasnt happened since
