Driving home today, merged onto interstate, so I jumped on it. It shifted at about 65 or 70 and when it did, my alternator light came on. No squealing or odd noises. After a few miles it went off. Any ideas?
What is retarded is not saying what year this car is, any other symptoms, whether you took the 10 minutes to pull the alt and take it to autozone/advanced to get checked for free etc...
As much as I hate to admit it the cheaper Mustangs like beat to **** foxes, SN95s and Edges are falling into the hands of what we'd all "ricers" if they drove a 4 banger. I have not seen this as much with the F body crowd, probably because a decent LS1 still commands a premium. You can get a 94/95 GT for like $1500 tho... sad...
