Stolen keys!

Any chance there's a locksmith on here that could answer a few questions? Anyone with advice on a replacement or options would be greatly appreciated.

Check latemodelresoration. If this is a non keyless entry car, I believe they sell new lock tumbler and key sets.

If it is a keyless entry car, well you'll want to contact a local locksmith to you, and get a qoute on price. Expect it to be expensive in this case.

You can get a new lock and key from auto zone for 17$... I just replaced mine last week. Now if yours has a chip in it I have no idea what they cost.

If its a fox just get a new tumbler and key. Change out the door lock cylinders with new ones as well. Not expensive and DIY. You can program any new keyfob on a keyless car, it is only going to be expensive on a 96-up car with PATS and even then its not terrible as long as you have a spare PATS key.

It's for my 84 coupe, it's 100 for a locksmith to cut a new key and and 20 for a autozone ignition. Anyone have experience drilling the old ones out? Also I heard the older fords didn't use many different keys back then, was told a old ford key could work. And jiggler keys

^^^ Actually it’s pretty easy, all you need to do is remove the column covering to access the pin you'd push to remove the cylinder with the key on. Use a drill bit that’s a bit smaller than the pin and drill it out. Sometimes you can punch it out but drilling is easier.
