Ya i read o have to go motorcraft for 02 if not car will get ficked up they 70 a piece. Heatd denso, ntk, and bosch horrible for 5.0.

I also have am obd1 scanner havnt used it yet but seems legit. You might have a bad pump, did you check your fuel pressure? And are u positive about the catted bbk mid pipe being illegal in your state? It will not throw any codes. Maybe another guy from cali on here will shed some light on this subject. And I would double check on that needing motor craft or it won't run right...I run Ngk spark plugs and they are fine so I couldn't imaging the o2 censors from Ngk are that bad.

Ya well i order everything from american muscle and on there i looked for catted x and saw bbk which i always get it said it was only 49 state legel. They got magnaflow one but not specifics on the legal status of the cats. Ya iv always been told for plugs and 02 go only for motorcraft because if u use anything else for a 5.0 it will mess it up. Like ntk or bosch for plugs will heat to much or to little idk its been awhile from what i was told and have read which sucks cause they 70 a piece. For 02 they alao dont give the correct air ratio needed for a 5.0 ya i think it bad because turns on 50/50 of the time and sometimes performance lost and hard to start from lack of fuel so fri getting a bbk 190 lph kinda wanna go 255

Lol same with me but I go there cause auto zone really retarded. When I go in to Oreilys I always ask for one of the 2 guys that work there they really no there stuff . my cat kinda stopped rattling imma just get a hc count red to see if it bad. Rather get other stuff done before building up exhaust / headers.

I'm assuming it's something like this, there is probably a ford only one or a generic all makes and models one. I have never used one before but I assume this one would work. Let me know what they say

Ya I will and also bring in pullys so they can physically see what I'm talking about lol. Website says u can use same belt but that can't be right I should need a smaller one right the stock pullys are hella big and bbk ones hella small.

I used the same belt when I did the underdrives on my 95. However doing underdrive pullies on a fox without upgrading the alternator first is a bad idea. I wouldn't use the alternator pulley regardless but the thing barely puts out enough power with the stock pullies and a 3G alternator upgrade is pretty much a required mod before you start messing with anything having to do with the charging system or needing extra juice.

^+100 on this my stang stalls some times when using the power steering when moving slow. It has become less frequent since I replace the steering column and steering rack. Mine were all beat up.

You can rent the power steering pulley puller and installer tools from AutoZone no reason to buy them unless you want to keep them like I did,
The 2 half shells fit around the nose on the power steering pulley and you thread the stud into the steel shaft of the power steering pump this pulley the pulley off the power steering shaft.
You might want to measure the distance between the pulley and the pump before you remove the old pullet because some pulleys will thread all the way onto the power steering pump shaft and then your belt is not lined up correctly to the other pulleys.

Just had shop put in the under drive pulleys. Deffinetly notice a little more kick. Costed 175 for labor plus smaller belt. I figured I would have shop play guess the new belt size lol. They had auto zone make 3 trips bringing like 3 belts every time until they found right size. She starting up like a 2014 to

First off, stay away from the letter cams especially if you are going to do a good head like a TFS. The 58cc and 61cc is the combustion chamber volume, 58cc will have higher compression but it also depends on what pistons you use.

Used heads... you are going to pay $800 or so and if you want to bolt them in as is and take a risk that is fine. If not, you will spend $200 or so for a cleaning and a valvejob and at that point you might as well buy new.

o ok man thanks. ya i was gunna use the trickflow pistions that go with the heads , my block is original. today my buddy told me i should just by new engine or build one from scratch because he said doesnt make since to get new top end with everything stock 95. he said my engine with blow if not soon than latter and will mess up my new engine parts is this true. if i build one from scratch can i just use same block and get everything new including the parts i want in there . im sure machine shop can clean block before throwing everything in. apparently guy before me ran nos so probably melted everything in there pretty much. i know the heads have no thread right now. also since its gunna take forever to buy everything can i buy parts and just leave them in my closet til installation no matter how long it takes to get everything. some guy told me u cant leave new parts sitting around for more than a month.

White smoke is burning coolant (ie. steam)...most likely blown head gasket. Sorry cant help on brakes.

Probably wasnt the brakes, it was most likely the engine stalling
