clutch cable

clutch cable snapped and looking to buy one...i already have the adjuster so wich one do i buy so it can fit in the adjuster?
and i need the lock that goes on the quadrant so it doesn't slide off the pedal because thats why my cable snapped
do you all know what kind of lock is it?

This cable.. MM Clutch Cable, Universal Mustang, Ford OEM, 1982-04

The locks you are talking about are clips see image below.

Yeah that one is good or one from a Ford dealer. NEVER buy a parts store cable, they are NOT a suitable replacement.

i'm trying to replace the cable myself and i don't seem to find the quadrant below the clutch pedal...
does anybody have a diagram?
my car is a mustang 88 gt convertible

Mr. Diagram to the rescue.......what doesn't Almost Stock have besides the lottery numbers?

I saw this initially as "Mr Diaphragm to the rescue......" Which may also be a universal truth.

I just changed my clutch cable and found out and my bell housing the arm for the clutch fork" throw out bang to go around moves freely what do I do
