Fpr gauge install question

Has anybody installed a guage directly to their FPR and kept their EGR? If so, what size brass fittings did you use, and where did you get them? There is clearence issues, and I know I can install it on the Schrader valve, but it rather not as my boost pipe is so close id have even more clearence issues. Lol

Any help would be appreciated

Yeah I'm finding out that that's gonna be my only option. I went to pepboys and they had the adapter in stock at another store. I bought a 1/8 2" long pipe to raise it up above the boost pipe lol

Yeah its brass. I had to argue with the kid at the parts store because he didn't believe the Schrader valve was a 1/16 because the picture he saw on the internet looked different.... He also didn't believe it was called a Schrader valve; until I showed him. Then he asks me if it was a 95. I said no, and he said has had a lot of issues with people between 95 and 96. Ummm bro, ones a 302 OHV, and the other is a 281 OHC. Suprise! He had no idea lol

Did you use teflon on the threads?

Ended up getting some time after work today to get it installed. Went in pretty easy, but I had to move some piping to get it to fit. Also the oil in the gauge leaked out....lol but its not a necessity anyways. Gave pefect readings so I'm good with it.

Thanks! Yeah I got a bbk from a buddy who went with a different setup. Most say they have issues with them leaking, but he never did and I haven't either. Right now, I'm running 24 lbs injectors, but I want to step up to 30's. I also have the vortech fmu from the kit, but I want to get rid of it and go with a tune.
