Looks pretty freaking sweet. 302? Stock heads? What cam? Was it fairly simple on building it by yourself? Looking to replacing some headgaskets on mine if needed pretty soon. Just wondering how it went and what problem s you ran into

They are easy to build and it looks great. The only thing I suggest from that pic is to cover up ALL the holes in the motor ASAP if you haven't already. Masking tape across the intake ports and put some rags in the fill neck and distributor. You'd be amazed at what can just randomly fall into there. I actually once had one of those helicopter seeds fall off a tree right as I was installing an intake and go right down one of the ports. That's one of those moments where you just look up and go "really?"...

Lmao yes I already taped it off and put a big towel over everything pretty much the only problem ive had that botherd me and had me frustrated was when I put the water pump and the other piece before that I needed a lot of lube and a hammer to get it in lol also I ha a lot of trouble finding the right bolt so I would suggest if you take it apart put the bolts in different places or buy new ones lol I waisted about 1 hour on looking for bolts that work lol

The front seal that slides into the timing cover over the crank? Yeah I did that a couple days ago. It helps if you shave off a little off the metal on the seal to get it to slide in and kinda lock itself. There a pain but once it locks it gets easier. Good job on the rebuild man, it's looking good! Big accomplishment for a 17 year old.

Good build man!! I like 10 serious personally but out of those two I would go with the 40s. A buddy of mine went with spin techs on his 94 cobra and they sound good too.

Let me just say this now cause I know some one will. People complain that they drone but I don't really hear it but I still have stock gears so when I swap mine out highways driving will become louder

I had 40s dumped. They where def not loud enough for me. I did my own custom exhaust... helps to have a welder. But I got straight pipes with some kind of cam and it sounds really throaty. My buddy has a 94 cobra also with straight pipes and glass packs and his is louder then mine but idc. I was running an open h for about 3 months and it was VERY ANNOYING.

You crazy kids and your ear drum splitting exhausts... I once had a 5.0 with aftermarket headers/ORH/dumped 40s and I about wanted to kill myself after any sort of highway ride... There is loud and then there is sounding good. They don't always go together but they aren't mutually exclusive either.

When I bought mine it was a ORX with 40s dumped. I hated the sound of it, the cam came out nice but just wasn't loud. I'm not a big fan of flow master either. I would've got super 10s witch is the loudest..

Easiest thing I did was got 4 of the 2 and a half od to slide over the piping and 2 and a quater of to slide in the pipping.
