Starting 306 build!!

Hey guys!! Been gone for awhile but the stang has been moving along nicely. Like the title says I'm starting a 306 build. I have already purchased a gt40 306 short block with less then 8000 miles on it. I have a ported gt40 upper and lower I'm going to put on it. It has the fcam in it that I'm think about keeping it in. Just need to find heads. Is there anything else you guys would recommend? I have been thinking about upgrading injector and fuel pump and bigger maf. The car already has some supporting mods, stag 1 clutch light weight flywheel. I have lowering springs and brand new kyb shocks and struts and wanting sub frame connecters. There is much more I wanna do but if any of you guys can help me on what I need or what I should get let me know thank you for any help.

What kinda budget as that will be the determining factor?

A used set of TW heads will complete that combo nicely.

I know I was just being funny as if my opinion wasn't enough.

Hopefully others will chime in with their opinions but you still haven't answered my question. Budget will dictate where you can shop whether it be beer, wine coolers, wine, liquor, champagne or even a side of caviar.

My budget is pretty much how I said it not trying to spend a lot. Maybe around 600-800 on the heads and a little but more here and there

Make sure you factor in a $600 dyno tune. If you can't swing that right now then don't do the build. Figure spending $700-$800 on twisted wedge heads. Get your cobra lower intake ported by Tom Moss. Do longtubes, steeda subframes and all the rest of the bolt ons.

Persoanally, if I was doing a budget build on a pushrod I would get a good explorer motor pullout, swap in the stock gt cam or a $100 used tfs1 or b cam, new valve springs/pushrods, fuel system and a used s trim. That's a 425-450whp car for the same price as a hci rebuild.
