Question

Hey guys anyone smart with horsepower? Ok I have a 1989 Mustang gt convertible and I rebuild the motor everything has new gaskits rebuilt stock heads 302 motor e303 cam the crome air thing that goes into the fender and the manifold new belt new offroad xpipe with super 10 flowmasters and thats about it and its automatic does anyone have a clue or a estimate about how much horsepower I have?

Somewhere shy of 300hp... Depending on what "manifold" you mean and a few other variables.

Stock is 225HP and you may have added 5 or 10 more HP, so maybe 235HP but that's not to the rear wheels.

You go to a shop with a dyno. Doing a cam is a waste of money with the stock heads. I'd say around 210 to the wheels with basic bolt ons. Whoever said 300hp lol please.

I told him a cam was a waste of money before he did it though. Now he needs to spend $$$ for a dyno tune since he has a non-stock cam in the car and he isn't going to be seeing any extra power from it.
