Diff. Tooth contact pattern

How can there be no pattern shown here but the pinions teeth are painted? What I miss?

You've got to do more than lightly roll the gears. Does look like a slight pattern towards the outside edge.

How did you set pinion depth?

Starting to think that the guy I had press the bearing on only used one shim I have em. Was gonna add up to .030. Should of just used the oe shim

What shim size would you start with for 3.55? .030?

If you put in ford gears it should have a number to add or remove from a base of .030. The frpp 4.10's I just put in my car called to add .01.
