85 5.0 just replaced timing chain but keeps jumping

I replaced it a couple months ago i had changed spark plugs it started running different and then died it had jumped a tooth I put it at tdc on 1st cyllinder tightened it started and it jumped again right away tried five times eptdoin it was wondering if anyone had any ideas or could help me out. any help appreciated

andI know it has to do with the timing but each time I did replace distributor i tried a new position on distributor still would after trying to start

I just tried fivemore times every time it either goes one wire over 80 out anyideas?? i gonna have timing chain again?

You sure you got the right timing chain for your car? Because if there is no way in hell the chain should be jumping teeth like that unless there is slack in it and a new one will not have this.
