That is your wiper motor. I guess it could be removed if it never rains where your at! Lol

Not real sure how it is in the way doing your wire tuck but if you were to paint it and clean it up and hid the wires going to it won't be nearly as noticeably.

I agree Almost.


I also have never seen a wiper motor that is not rusted or has all the paint peeling off.


Takes 2 seconds to remove, clean and rattle can it.

I don't believe they all came with the black covers.
I know my 89 didn't come with a black cover and I'm the original owner.

Yeah now that I think about it your probably right. My 89 vert doesnt have one but my 93 lx does. Just get one from a 93 and throw it on to cover it.lol

No cover on mine but when I bought it they owner gave me some peeling paint and a rusty motor body.

Mine never got that bad... and now it has a cover over it (no it's not that kind of cover ) so I guess I'll never know how bad it could have gotten.
