No difference In power after half way throttle

Hey guys. I have a question. My 94 gt runs pretty good and strong.
My question is, it has good pickup when I push the gas pedal untill half throttle. From halfway to wide open throttle it doesn't make much difference.
It runs the strongest at half throttle if I go anymore it just doesn't seem like it does anything idk if that is normal or not.
Has anybody else had this problem?
I've checked the tps with a voltmeter and it was reading good from no throttle to wot.
Mainly stock 302 with gt40 p heads and a explorer intake with a 1 inch spacer, cold air intake, shorty headers and a msd 6al ignition box. Any help would greatly be appreciated!!!

Mine was doing that and cleaning out the air intake and putting in a new filter solved it. Note that this is on a V6. The V8 is a lot less forgiving of showing problems due to dirt and restricted intake than the V6 is. I'd recommend checking everything at half the interval Ford recommends.

Note - lag/loss of power at high throttle usually points to restriction in airflow in modern fuel injected engines.

It's been bout a year and a half since I changed my fuel filter. But any ideas help. I'll change it since it's prolly due anyways.
And I have a cold air intake but I'll check everything to do with the intake. To make sure it ain't clogged or dirty.
