Advancing the timing on a 94-95 isn't always a good idea. You'll get ping no matter what. I found on my car. Y stock cam was advanced timing by 4 degrees and ur stock dizzy is set to 10 degrees advanced. So you're already at 14* at least in my case.

Every car is different. Way too many variables as some cars can be advanced to 18 and some you can't touch from stock. They have to be done on a one on one basis and condition of the motor has a lot to do with it.

Some cars were built on a Monday and some on a Friday.
