Turning signal problems

Okay so my boyfriend jumped my car the other day cause I left my lights on and then now my turning signals don't work. My hazards do work but my turning signals don't work. Help. I brought it to Napa auto parts and they have no Idea what it could be. Tried to do a flashers test and I guess a previous owner of this car eliminated the flashers so please help. I don't want to get stopped by the police or hit because my turning signals don't work

Well my issue was fixed. Turns out the flasher relay was not eliminated. It was relocated and tucked behind the fuse panel just like a little boy pretending to be a girl. That flasher relay was dead. I replaced that and my turning signals work again. I am so happy that it was a $12 fix instead of an almost $200 dollar fix.
