help!!!! with transmission change

I got 1988 mustang gt 5.0 when i first got it i had a clutch kit installed they said the tranny was bad i drove it for about 6 months and the tranny locked up i got another used one put it in an it wont go in to gear when it on when it off i can fell the gears.

Did you have the new trans u put in checked out and how's the clutch pedal ?

I hope you didn't slap a transmission in without checking it out first. Why was the transmission removed from last car?

You probably got a bad trans. Buying a used one is a crapshoot. You can get a good rebuilt one to your door for $750.

Gotta agree with Scotty, as there is no way to test a T5 outta of a car. Plus rebuilding a trans means you know what was really done.
