h or x pipe?

I have a Summit racing exhaust I am going to install when we replace the clutch in my 95. I know an h or x pipe help out powerwise but the Summit ones I would assume work with the exhaust say no cats off road only. Can these be run on a street car or is there a better option? The exhaust is the summit 2,5 inch dual with the turbo mufflers

What?

An offroad pipe is "offroad" because removing emissions equipment from a vehicle is a federal crime if you are driving it on the street. Yeah lots of ppl do it and something like 20 states don't even inspect but still.

A good set of hi-flow cats keep you legal and you won't lose any power until you are in the 500+ range. H vs X pipe is a pure sound preference. X is raspier than a H. Power is going to be the same no matter what the internet racers say.

I bought the exact same exhaust kit from Summit for my 94. I did put Hi-Flow Cats on it though & Used an X-Pipe. I also changed the Mufflers to Cherry Bomb Glass Packs. I'll see if I can get a video with how it sounds posted later today. It sounds Great !!! Everyone is very impressed with the sound as it sounds pretty deep, Fairly Loud & Kind of Mean. I personally love it.
Unfortunately, I got tired of sinking money into a car that will never have enough H.P. to beat a 2011 + 5.0 so I'm getting rid of it. I'll be buying a 2011 or Newer in July as that's when my wife's car will be paid off & I can afford a $500 per mo. payment.
Sold the Motor I built for $2700 so I'm saving all I can for a nice down payment when I go to purchase my new Mustang.
If you happen to use a Pro Products Typhoon Intake let me know & I'll give you a FREE Throttle Body Elbow Adapter that only works on that intake. It's Brand New / Never Used & has the Instructions, Hardware & Gaskets. I paid $80 for it but it's useless to me now so I'll give it to someone who needs it if they pay the shipping.

Just sold my 98 too. Not worth having a Mustang unless its a classic, a terminator, a GT500 or a 2011+. At least IMO. Unless you are going for an all out drag car, then get a notch fox.

My 95 is just a fun cruiser. Not trying to make a racer. I have a 70 Fastback that i will be making into the quick car. It starts out 600lbs lighter so it is a no brainer. I have a LOT of work to get that back on the road though
