Fuel Pump Issues
Guys and Gals,
This past weekend I was asked by my brother to help him with changing out a bad fuel pump on his 93 Cobra. The pump is a 255 as his car is blown. Several weeks back he was driving it and it was running great. He got home parked the car outside for a bit before coming back outside later that evening to pull the car into the garage. When he tried to crank it she just turns over but does not start. When he cycled the ignition on and off you did not hear the FP prime itself. Simple.. Bad FP. Well that is not the case.
I started doing some simple TS on the problem and came across that the Fuel Pump relay has power, but no power is reaching the inertia switch in the trunk. Replaced the switch and the relay. Nothing. Started checking Fusible Links under the Starter Solenoid, No luck. Any suggestion fellow peeps. This **** is aggravating
