Sn96 or fox

Sn95 5.0 better than a fox 5.0? I know they're the same motor but as far as differences which is a better buy

Much better interior, slightly better chassis.

The 94-98 is pretty much the exact same thing as the 99-04 except for the motor, length of the rear axle, and body work.

94/95 is much better IMO. Same drivetrain, 99% same motor, better interior and its just put together better. The chassis is the same "fox4" chassis but it did get updates. The biggest issues with the 94/95 cars are finding 94/95 specific stuff, the stock computer almost requires a tune right off the bat and they are still anemic in stock form unless you buy a Cobra. They're also a good 150-200lbs heavier than the fox.

Honestly if I was getting another 5.0 pushrod it would be a notch fox that already had motor work done or another 94/95 Cobra like I had.

That is the difference between body styles.

Brunettes do it better. Plus, most blondes are brunettes anyway. Now... if we are talking redheads...

Hot cammed 3V cars do sound great and they are in the 325rwhp range. For $9500 you can get a real nice F body though which will blow the doors off that 3V.

I've been saying on here a lot recently... you want a bang for the buck older sports car, get a F body. You want a really nice tech updated etc... etc... car, get a Coyote. I will never mess with a pre-11 Mustang again unless its a GT500, just not cost effective unless you are doing a 1/4 only car.

I actually think the Trans Ams look pretty good but I like the full black camaro interiors better. Although you don't buy a F body for the interior... or exterior really... you buy it for the drivetrain.

Does anyone know any tricks to stabbing the distributor? I tried it one way then flipped it around to see if it's 180 but no matter where I put it if I go to turn it over I have to keep gas on it to have it run but then it runs extremely rough. TDC on compression stroke and won't start I don't get it. It's getting fuel and everything all I did was tighten down a few rockers

Depends on what your looking for, personally I've always been a fox fan, it's built to mod and if u treat her right you can make it a daily or drag.

Have fun with that. You doing the 1/4 special setup with spherical bushing control arms on the 4 link or are you going to convert it to 3 link?

Not really full rear suspension but a good start.

Upper and lower control arms?

Make sure you inspect the torque boxes and fix them if they look bad.

Yeah I want to get the torque box reinforcements plates and weld them. What are the best lowering springs for drag racing and all around quality and performance?

Eh, on a budget the UPR stuff is fine. Basic drag setup for a fox that isn't goint TA/PHB is:

Spherical end UCAs
Poly LCAs
Torque boxes welded/reinforced
Anti roll bar for the 1/4 strip
Bigs/Littles and a set of drag springs

Do all that, and then hit up Nitrous Works or Nitrous Express for a 150 shot and install a fuel/ignition to support nitrous and get thrown off the track for running a mid 11 without a cage.
