Best gears?

What is the best gears for raceing? Say like a 30 roll or a 60 roll I need a gear that will keep my top end power pushing? 3:73 or 4:10 gears I was thinking 4:10s but I wasn't sure?

For a 5.0? I wouldn't go 4.10, that is best for higher revving cars. Ideal gear for a pushrod 5.0 is 3.73s or 3.55s.

The 5.0 is not a super high Reving motor but it revs fast and loves the higher revs. I have 3.55 in my 5.0 5 speed because I take it on the interstate. It's a happy medium.

I got 4.10s on my 90. Love them! Aggresive launches, and gas efficiency is honestly not big of a difference. Rarely drive it on the freeway, but when i do, its at around 2,600k rpms in OD at about 70 mph. Youll be happh with the purchase

2500-2800 stall with 3.73 would be your best set up street/strip.

Yeah i searched up a shop that specialized in differentials and gears and they charged 350 and had it done in less than 3 hours. I ended up purchasing the speedo tooth from latemodel.

Had a 4.56 when I bought the car. It was fast reving as nothing I've ever driven, made wheel spins easy and gears from the t5 real shorts

I had a 4.10 installed and it's easy to tell, car feel slower a bit and wheels won't burnout every corners as I gaz a little too much...

Honestly not having to use my car on highway from time to time I would have kept the 4.56, it was to much fun. Now it does around 2800rpm @ 120km/h with the 4.10
