Supercharged 5.0 project
I'm currently doing a supercharger build on my 88 mustang and need some advice from you guys. I have a vortech v3 supercharger, gt40 3 bar heads, bbk 5001 intake upper and lower, msd 6al box and coil, 40lb injectors. Last week I sent out the block to get machined and bored and also ordered forged low compression pistons and machining the crank also. A buddy of mine told me that I'm gonna have to find a way to ventilate the crankcase due to the air pressure from the blower. I'm wondering if this is really needed because I've never heard of that being done. How can I "ventilate" the crankcase?
