Somewhere in the high 300s/low400s I'd guess. Depends on the rest of the mods on the car.

Stock bottom end as in stock crank and rods? If you are using stock rods, make sure to use the "football" rods.

Yea that's a good hp range, I'm hoping for 360hp & up at the wheels, but I'm pretty sure they are the football rods bc the block is out of a truck.

You'd have to look at the connecting rod bolt to be sure. Regardless if you are going to stick in the 360-400whp range, any stock rods will be just fine.

I've used 170cc TW heads before and TW is probably my favorite brand of heads for the 302. High quality, good design, make power and price is reasonable.

Had 170's on the 302 and then had them ported when I built the 347. Great heads and love what they do.

That's the other thing, there is PLENTY of "meat" on a TFS 170cc head (or 190) for a porter to work with if one ever steps it up. Lots of 408s out there running ported 302 heads that flow well enough to make great power. Cheaper than buying new heads if you already had them on another build but if starting from scratch, just get the size you need.
