More likely its the wiring. Its a common issue with 87-93 cars. The wiring can't suppor the current going to the foglights. The switch might indeed be bad, but even if the switch is bad and is replaced the fogs are going to flash on and off until he does the wiring fix.

I have to google search the how-to... its been forever since I've owned a Fox...

Google Foxbody Foglight issues and go under the tab that's listed as The Corral. It's very detailed

I can tell ya, it's not a matter of IF it goes bad it's WHEN. Never fun driving at night and your lights go out simply because your foglights are on. If you follow the Ling I was telling you about it, you can actually have foglight a anytime you desire, even when using high beams and using only foglights

Lol yea its been awhile, ive had about ten foxbodys through the years with 8 out of ten being an LX. I like the gt's just always found good deals on the lx. Both my 88gt and 90gt the foglights didn't work. I knew about the issues so I just put light covers on them and called it a day.

Yes sir. It's a couple 3 hour fix but it works. Kinda frustrating at the same time. But it is an easy fix overall

My 91 GT is my first foxbody. I really enjoy it. The good part is they are an easy to repair tyke of car. Getting ready to do some suspension replacement parts and power steering pump replacement. That whine is driving me bats***. But I was told a AGR pump wld eliminate a big part of that. We shall see. Hoping to have this one completed by summer with fresh paint. Dark Shadow Gray
