Moates quarterhorse tuning

Hey guys, so simple question who has experience with this tuning system? Or maybe have heard some good or bad things about it? Personally think it going to be awesome with the laptop on board for all the tuning.

The MQ is in my opinion the best tuning device for the sn95 mustang. I bought the book “The Ultimate Ford EFI Tuning Guide for Binary Editor Software” from Lasota Racing to learn about it and was a good decision. My turbo car is perfectly dial thanks to the QH and the binary editor. Many hours spent using the Datalogging option but at the end the results were as expected. Not only you can obtain data from the stock sensors but also from an aftermarket wideband. Buy it you will not regret.

I have a blow through maf setup with Pmas sensor, 42 injectors, aeromotive 340 fuel pump, gt40 heads, 2031 crane cam, gt40 tubular intake manifold, 75mm throttle body, MSD ignition, autolite cooper plugs one step colder, 67mm turbo, 38mm wastegate, 50mm bov. I paid $80.00 for the license of the binary editor and $25 for the J4J1 strategy file. You can download the software from here: http://www.eecanalyzer.net.

Moates quarterhorse tuning

Almost identical to my 70mm turbo kit 42 pound injectors front mounted intercooler gt40p heads, gt40 lower, boxs upper, 55mm Bov and the same waste gate, tfs stage 1 cam. Did you do the tunning yourself or brang it to a shop??

So what your saying is you had some one from the website write you a tune and you downloaded it to the car correct? How was the tune if so?

The guy was connected to my laptop using a software like teamviewer. He wrote the tune to my chip while asking me the modifications a details of my car. With the car in my garage he dialed the fuel at idle and part throttle with my engine running. After some tuning sessions, once everything was correct he dialed the fuel at WOT. This procedure has to be without connection to the internet because I was driving on the road. The tune was with no timing to protect the engine. He reviewed the datalog that I obtained from the WOT pull and made some corrections to the tune. After more pulls and more dataloggs he added the timing and was done. The power increase is notable during part throttle and wot. Also the suspension has to be modified because the car spins the tires even in 3rd.

Almost two years and counting with his tune. He reviewed and made corrections to the tune many times until the car was perectly dialed. I made only one payment. Don't know exactly if he offers tune for life. Also he tuned my dads 96gt with vortech supercharger using the same method. The guy is a wizard.

Nice set up I have 315s so hopefully that will help I'm adding a rear strut tower brave to stiffen up the rear cause I think that's my issue. After that not sure what to do next?
