5.0 timing

i know there are alot of timing threads here but i havent found what im looking for. i have a 95 gt that is giving us hell. at 10 degrees it wont hardly run, it doesnt start to run good until 36 degrees. i have changed the balancer thinking it has slipped but still the same. i got this car ont he cheap and am wanting to get it runnig better. has trik flow heads cam and intake bored .030. any help would be greatly appreciated

Does it start good when it is cold cause I had a problem with that and found out my battery didn't have enough cold cranking amps.

will not start with normal timing just way advanced. wanting to spray it but need to figure out my timing to do so

mot tuned yet was wanting to get the timing figured out and another throttle body for it before i took it for tuning.

Set timing to 12 deg and have it tuned.if not tuned it won't run right.the computer needs to be set up for bore and new h/c/i

If the balancer is new then you might have to stab the dizzy again as it might be a tooth off.

This might not make any sense, but it might be your coil. I've seen quite a few cars that had a bad coil, that would still run with extremely advanced timing.

I will try the distributor again to make sure it is right. I can try another coil to see if that is it. Never heard of that before.

Is the chain being to loose a possibility? I couldent adjust the timing on mine right because the timing was the original 1990 one lol

Timing set was supposed to be new. Maybe off a tooth? Work out of town so don't get much time to mess with it this time of year.
