Things I did this past weekend. Just wanted to share.

Just Installed this weekend: silicone hose, distributor cap, ford racing 9 mm wires,180 degree thermostat, water neck, ford racing valve cover gaskets, NGK Iridium IX spark plugs, 24 lb fuel injectors, fuel pressure regulator, 90 mm mass air meter, aluminum drive shaft and so on...

You can't tell from this picture but the person before me painted the Tubular intake green and in person it looks bad and flaking. that's why i painted it black.I would have like the original look better but could not get it back to that.

Cheap coppers always seem to work better on these old truck motors.

Word. The problem with me is lack of experience. I made all judgement calls off of reviews really. I am a want to be motor head but am really just a computer programmer that can't sit still.

Hey no worries. Soon with enough reading and scraped knuckles you will be a motorhead.


Plus they are only plugs. One thing I learned was doing the simple things like getting to know your car. What they like. Kinda like plugs, where is the sweet spot for timing, vacuum leaks (everyone has those), making sure the grounds are good.


These are old cars so they are going to speak to you, all you got to do is listen.

vacuum leaks is next on my list! (What is this?)
