347

Something is just bad *** about that number. It sticks in my head. I have been thinking pushing 8-10 psi but claiming you are running a 347 just seems to me just more bad a$$. Yes you are not putting as much HP to the floor but man.

I have a 347 stroker....

I am superchargered...

Just saying. Both would be the best but if you had to go one way I choose the 347 stroker. I am just thinking out loud. The sound and raw power.

These are the battles going on in my head right now. I've done everything else. What do YOU think?

If you plan on staying with the stock block then I would probably get a blower.

To do a 347 correctly it requires a complete game plan. From disassembly, machining, balancing, measuring, assembly......

The issues with the 347s were worked out a long time ago. That said, you had better not be using a stock block if you are going to go stroked and blown. You can make block splitting power with a supercharger and a mild HCI on a stock 302. If you are going to build a NA stroker, just go 351 based. Its not much more expensive and the returns are ridiculous. A mild street 408w will make 500/500 without breaking a sweat and blow the treads off the back tires at 2000rpm. More aggressive and you are looking at near 600. Pair with a built auto and some ET streets and hope your neck can take the launches.

Like like like like like. Lol. Great to see I'm not the only one with these battles in my head. I'd definitely go 351 based if going for both. Just my input

I have a 347 with a vortech and it's slower than my 346 LS1 with a cam and heads.

The does have a retarded amount of torque though.

It's all about the combo. I will admit that the LS1 is a bad mama jamma but have seen some nice 363 rip it up also.

My lil 347 runs pretty good for having "smallish" heads, intake and cam.
