Is a chip worth the money to buy for a couple bolt on parts for a 87 mustangs. Is a stb worth the money or makes no difference? Are adjustable shocks worth the money or just get normal ones?

A chip is snake oil, stb... You mean a tb? For shocks it all depends what you want to do.

Are your shocks shot?
What kind of springs do you have?
What kind of racing do you plan on doing?
Drag? Auto X? Track? Weekend warrior?
Do you have subframe connectors?

STB? Strut tower bar.......if that is what you mean then it depends what kind of racing you plan on doing.

Is your car still speed density?

Duh, strut tower brace... I'd put that money toward subframes and do the brace later.

Check your torque boxes.

So I guess drag is not your main purpose?

Also inspect your bushings. Replacing all your bushings REALLY tightens up the car.

Also you are an 87, you'll need to convert the car to MAF if it isn't already before you can do pretty much any sort of engine mods. The 87s and every 88 except ones sold in California came with speed density.
