Well I'm looking to get another 100 or so HP without breaking my bank. What would upgrading to 24 lb injectors with a 255 pump do for the mods I already have? I'd like to not have a budget build. But I'm not trying to go broke with crazy expensive parts. Is there a medium?

If you are going to go for a blower you'll want more than 24s... more like 42s and the 255 pump with a good AFPR. Stock rails are good for as much as the block can take but just barely.

As far as not breaking the bank... that's different for everyone. Even used blower in good shape is going to be $1500 or so. Then another $300-$500 in fuel system, $500-$700 for the tune and a few $hundred for misc parts. That's not including labor if you aren't DIY.

Not trying to discourage you, just trying to give you realistic numbers. Also not sure what all else is done to the car. If you are still on stock suspension there is no way that power is ever going to see the pavement properly and then there is the T5's tendency to shear all the teeth off 3rd at higher power levels so you will be wanting to upgrade the trans too at some point in the near future.

OK. So I can get away with 24s for now with my current setup.I plan to do the fuel system and bilstien suspension now. I'm in chassis class. Also gonna do tack and pinion. The tune comes right after. They gave me a quote for 600 flat at all mustangs performance in Arizona

The trans I plan on getting the tko 500? I read the stock tranny doesn't hold well at higher power levels. That trans is exp though so I was trying to put it off right before I get the major power upgrades.

I bought an entire 95 gt wire harness for a project truck I have and it wasn't cheap. I want to say I spent 350 on it but it's in good shape.

Why do you need a harness?

I do not have the right one in my car. I'm missing connectors and wires are old. I'm pretty sure my dad got had for the harness before I bought it. I'd like something more reliable for my restore

I would only wish a TKO upon an enemy honestly. Had one, will never EVER run one ever again if I get another stick shift. The trans you want is the Astro A5. Strength of a TKO but is still technically a T5 so its half the weight and retains the butter smooth/efortless shifting the T5 is known for. The TKO feels like a ****ing truck transmission, is noisy, is huge and have fun getting locked out of higher RPM shifts and lots of notch.

I got a TKO and I personally love my friend's A5 117% more than mine.

I had the 3550 which is the old TKO500 basically. I remember always getting locked out of 2nd and 3rd at high RPM unless I really (and I mean REALLY) slammed the **** out of that tri-ax shifter. Going from a fresh rebuild T5 which practically fell into gear... I did a lot of self convincing that "well this is so much stronger so its worth it". It wasn't.
