Dressing up fender wells

I would like to brighten up the fender wells and underneath the fuel tank on my '95 GT. What should I use? --black paint? under coating? Simply cleaning it well does make it look a bit better but it still lacks that deep black finish that really sets the car off.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!!

I used the interior shine crap from either Mcguire's or Mother's.
