Cheap and performance mods usually don't go together... What budget are you working with? Is your 88 converted to MAF or still speed density?

2000 Mustang GT Steeda build #48. Bolt ons, suspension, Novi 2000.

Just because I give you advice, doesn't mean I know more than you. Its just means I've done more stupid ****.

If you haven't converted to MAF yet, don't change the cam.K&N air filter, under drive crank pulley, shorter belt to bypass the smog pump, adjust timing to 14°(if using 91+ octane fuel)Its not exactly a cheap mod,but its cheaper than aftermarket parts.95-early 97 Explorer GT40 or 97-01 GT40P heads or better yet,69-71 351W heads(must use different headers on the GT40P heads though)95-01 Explorer throttle body,94-95 Mustang 70mm MAF sensor. The link below lists parts you can snag from cars at the junkyard.
