Nitrous huffing LSX.
I would never put a ford motor back in a fox unless it was a coyote.

5.3L L33 (aluminum) with a cam swap, LS6 intake and the normal bolt ons should make 375 to the wheels from everything I've read on the interwebs. In a 3000lb car that is going to be effing moving. Also has ridonkulously strong internals, ppl turbo the **** out of the smaller LSX JY motors.

Please tell me your 88 has T-Tops...

That's a sin to put a Chevy in a Ford.Chucks not doing too well with the Chevy into Ford setup on Street Outlaws. If I had the cabbage,it would definitely be a Dart block,363 stroker with 10-15lbs of boost.Don't listen to them Cody, keep it Ford.Just kidding, its your ride and like they said you can do what you want.Wonder if a 351 weighs the same as a Dart with a 363.Believe its only 100lbs more over the standard 302 short block for the 351,but not sure about the difference with the Dart block. What about dropping a 351 and its supercharger out of a 93 Lightning truck,if you could even find one.Good luck on the project, whatever you choose to run.Woody and Joel at FordStrokers.com can build some nice engines and so can DSSRacing.com,but that might not be in your budget.

I'm going to look at a 98 Mustang GT project car on Saturday to see what's up with it. I may be in a similar boat soon.

Against my better judgement...

Just get it. You always change your mind. Who cares if you may have to sleep on the couch for awhile.

Lol seriously. Its in the general section. 98 GT, salvage title but interior looks clean, guy says frame is fine, has legit SVO skirts and side exhaust. Good donor car if nothing else.

You are right I do always change my mind. I'm the worst at that.
