Tips and tricks to drop on a ford 302 in a foxbody

Looking to see what are some tips from guys who have done 302 replacements and or rebuilds and know the little things to make this engine drop in go smooth as possible.

I currently have engine and tranny out. And will be attempting to put them in In A few days. Engine was rebuilt and put in before, then taken out again to check for a noise. I fixed it and now I'm ready to put her in again.

I don't want to take a week fighting with the engine to get it inside like last time. The whole time I was thinking "I'm doing something wrong, it should go in easier" should I bolt tranny to engine then lift to drop em in or.......

Thanks again guys for the knowledge you've been providing me for years and happy Memorial Day.

Engine and tranny at the same time. Plus a couple of extra hands really help.

2 people, hood off and use a load leveler. I can't stress enough how much easier a load leveler makes dropping in a motor.

And do the motor and trans all as one piece, its much easier.
