Exhaust identification needed!

Can someone please tell me what I have here? It came off my son's 1995 GT. I'm told it's like new. I would also like to know a fair market value. I want it out of my garage.

Thanks for the help.

Its a full length xpipe with converters made for oem or aftermarket shorty headers..Unfortunately I'm not sure which brand it is.I'm sure someone will chime in shortly with a brand and price so you'll know what its worth. It will definitely be worth several hundred dollars because of having converters.

Several hundred? I want some of whatever you are smoking lol.

It's worth exactly what a stock H pipe is worth because that's basically what it is. $100.

Oh my bad.It looked like an xpipe.I thought the 95's came with a hpipe. It looks a lot more like an x rather than hpipe. The fact that the converters are two different sizes and there are 4 of them instead of 2 should have told me it was an OEM pipe.

It's not oem but it looks like it. Factory is a H yes. But those conveters and that design... Not going to be any more desirable than a stocker.

Looks like a bbk catted x to me. I had one on a fox body when I lived in California and had to pass smog. The car I had came from wv and had zero smog stuff on it. But if I remember correctly it wasn't very expensive even new. Maybe 300 new? This was back in like 2006.

I thought it would be worth more.I've sold the 4 individual converters off of my stock hpipe on the 91 LX for $30each,so it seemed like the pipe(even at a scrap price)would bring in more than $100.I've seen guys charge $60-$100 bucks for used offroad h & xpipes & that's without converters.

Yea that x does look like a tru x. Man, if it's a magnaflow it's worth a decent amount to the right guy. Even half the price would be a deal for both parties.

You'd have to find the right guy... nobody I've ever met would pay even half the price of the magnaflow new for that pipe. That's an OEM replacement pipe basically for someone being forced to put an OEM pipe back on. Like if you got pulled over and ran over the coals by a cop having a bad day.

In a state where you must pass smog someone would. I would if I had a fox and lived in NY or CA. When I had my fox in CA I had to go that route. Headers had to be smog legal, cats in place, ect. I'd much rather have that then pay for replacement cats to be welded in. Just sayin.

I've passed smog with flying colors with aftermarket catted pipes for years. Unless you have some crazy tech who is looking for an "OEM" pipe on a visual there is zero need.

I get what your saying. I bought a car with no cats, brought to California. Needed cats. Lol. Had to buy cats. This part costs money. Lol. That's all I'm saying. Someone needs it. And will be excited to get it at a discount.

UPR catted X is $317 delivered brand new and they use Magnaflow cats and it's got spectacular ground clearance. And the UPR pipes are USA made in Florida. That's all I am saying.

So unless someone needs an actual 4 cat replacement pipe for some reason...

A friend of mine bought a 91 Coupe,306,gt40x heads, powerdyne supercharger with normal bolt ons and runs a off road hpipe & that thing runs as clean as any Mustang I've ever stood behind.I don't know how it can run that clean(I.e. no rich eye burning fumes)with zero cats??Have any of you guys seen the same type of Fox that can run like that with zero fumes??What's the secret??Can something be done via a chip to reduce fuel tables or whatever, which might solve this kind of issue??

Is that done via a chip or do you have to buy something like the PMS from Anderson Ford, etc? If the Afr is at 14.7:1 or really close to it,will that always guarantee you won't smell exhaust fumes, etc??

On the 95-down cars its done via a piggyback chip and a custom dyno tune. On 96+ cars you can just tune through the OBD2 port.
