1995 pulley squeaking

Hey guys whenever I start my car the pulleys always squeak and then it stops right after. What do you recommend? And I just put a new serpatiene belt on it and no pulleys are loose

I would check the tensioner pulley to make sure its working properly to keep the belt tight. It has a dot or arrow on the face of it which needs to fall within the range that's marked on the front. The spring inside of the tensioner can weaken & this will cause a loose belt.Make sure the pulley itself doesn't squeak, wobble or drag when free spinning it.A stretched belt will also cause noise. All of the pullies should freespin except for the crank. The smog & water pump will have slight resistance, compared to the ac,alternator & tensioner.I've seen several smog pumps seize or bind up after years of use.

Idler bearing is probably shot. I'd replace the idler. Cheap and easy.

Replace idler and tensioner pullies. Buy them on rockauto, don't pay local parts store prices.

Make sure you also report back when you fix the problem and close the case to the "Squeaky belt and pulley dilemma".

bearring on my smog pump went out and created noise (because I didnt install a AC delete pully) When i did a AC delete and it caused too much tension on the other bearings
NO MORE SQUEAK
